1. What we collect #
If you choose to upload a photo containing a face, we process the image and any facial data derived from it as needed to generate the requested scene/output. Depending on the technique used, this may involve computing a temporary representation of the face to condition the generation.
2. Why (purpose) and the limits on use #
We use the uploaded image and any derived facial data solely to render the ChillaVision scene or output you requested. We do not:
- use your uploaded images or facial data to train, fine-tune, or improve AI/ML models;
- sell, rent, or trade them; or
- use them for advertising, profiling, identification, surveillance, or any purpose beyond generating your requested output and operating/securing the feature.
3. Retention and deletion (ephemeral by design) #
- Your uploaded image is used to render your clip and then deleted immediately. We do not store it, and any temporary facial representation is discarded the moment your clip is rendered.
- Our biometric retention & destruction policy: uploaded face images and any facial data derived from them are destroyed immediately after your clip is rendered, are never stored, and are never used to train any model. Because nothing is retained, there is no standing store of biometric data.
- Generated output (the clip you made) may be shown on the channel and retained for a limited time for the live experience, replays/highlights (where offered), moderation, safety, and legal compliance, as described in the Privacy Supplement. That output is not your raw uploaded photo.
4. Your promises when you upload a face #
By uploading an image with a face, you confirm that:
- the face is yours, or belongs to an adult (18+) who has given you permission to upload and use their likeness this way;
- no minors appear in the image;
- you have all rights and consents necessary; and
- the image is not unlawful, non-consensual, sexual, harassing, or used to impersonate or deceive.
You are responsible for obtaining any third party's consent. Uploading someone else's face without their permission may violate their rights and the law, and is prohibited.
5. Legal basis and your rights #
Facial data is special-category/biometric data under laws such as GDPR (Article 9), Illinois BIPA, and similar state laws. Where those apply, our basis for processing is your explicit, informed consent, captured at upload.
- You may withdraw consent and request deletion at any time by contacting privacy@tensorverse.ai (withdrawal doesn't affect processing already completed, and originals are in any case deleted quickly by design).
- You have the rights described in the Master Privacy Policy, including access and deletion.
- We do not use facial recognition to identify you and do not build biometric profiles.
6. Sharing #
Facial data is processed by us and by service providers (for example, cloud compute) strictly to perform the generation, under confidentiality and security obligations. We do not disclose it to third parties for their own purposes, and we do not sell it.
7. Children #
ChillaVision is not for anyone under 18, and you must never upload an image depicting a minor. If we learn an image of a minor was uploaded, we will delete it.
8. How we capture your consent #
Where required, we present this consent at the point of upload with an affirmative action (for example, a checkbox or tap confirming "I have the right to upload this face and I agree to ChillaVision's Likeness & Biometric Consent"). Your action is recorded as evidence of consent.
