1. What it is #
For +$10 per fusion, you can add a QPU certificate. Every fusion can be verified on real quantum hardware. IBM Quantum runs an independent mathematical check of your model's integrity and issues a signed certificate. The certificate records what was checked (for example, the fusion and its integrity check, the IBM Quantum backend used, and a timestamp) and is signed so it can be relied on as provenance.
2. What it is not #
The certificate is not:
- a guarantee, warranty, or endorsement that your model is accurate, safe, performant, unbiased, or fit for any purpose;
- a performance improvement of any kind — it does not make your model better, smaller, faster, or cheaper to run;
- part of training, fusion, pruning, or quantization (those happen before and independently of the check); or
- a certification by any standards body or regulator.
3. Real quantum hardware #
The integrity check runs on IBM Quantum hardware. The certificate identifies the backend used. If, for operational reasons, a check cannot be run on real hardware for a given request, we will disclose that on the certificate and not represent it as real-quantum execution.
4. Third-party provider #
The quantum verification is performed via IBM Quantum, whose availability, performance, and terms apply. We do not control or warrant the third-party service.
5. No reliance beyond integrity #
Use the certificate as evidence of integrity and provenance of your fusion — not as assurance of model quality, safety, or regulatory compliance. Validate your model independently (see the Potara Supplemental Terms, Section 3).
